The letter “The Guardian” Refused to Print

By Jack Irvine, Media House UK on behalf of Cayman Finance

30 May 2013 (Cayman Finance) Australia woke up this week to a new digital edition of The Guardian. The Editor, Katharine Viner, told the nation of The Guardian’s proud history and claimed “we offer an unparalleled range of opinion, showing all sides of the story.”

Sadly, the Letters Page Editor in London doesn’t appear to share Ms Viner’s views.

Cayman Finance, which represents much of the financial community in the Cayman Islands submitted a letter on May 22nd highlighting massive inaccuracies in an article by Sir Simon Jenkins. The Guardian has since printed many letters supporting Sir Simon, and all of them with a clear bias against the Overseas Territories.
